We are a voluntary group of local mothers who live in the Mid-Ulster area of Northern Ireland who are enthusiastic about breastfeeding. We have all completed an extensive breastfeeding course.
In partnership with Gold Surestart, we have just successfully completed Stage 2 of the UNICEF UK Baby Friendly Initiative. This provides a framework for the implementation of best breastfeeding practices in hospitals and in the community.
