| Who We Are + How We Support
We are Mums who:
- Have all breastfed at least one baby
- Two of our mums have successfully breastfed twins (visit www.tamba.org.uk)
- Are enthusiastic about breastfeeding
- Are friendly and would like to help
- Have completed an extensive breastfeeding course
- Can talk to you about breastfeeding before or after you have your baby
- Have young families and can therefore understand how hard it can be at times
- Are all registered volunteers
How we Support:
Breastfeeding Groups
We attend the breastfeeding support groups in Gold Surestart, Cookstown, 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month 10.30 – 12.30 or every Tuesday at the Mid-Ulster Hospital 10.30 – 12.00.

Home Visit
If you want us to visit you at home, we can arrange for that too.
Parentcraft Class
A peer supporter speaks at the parentcraft classes in Cookstown and Magherafelt.
Referral
Community Midwives and Health Visitors have details of the service and can refer mothers to us.
Hospital Visits
From the Autumn we will visit new Mums in Antrim Area Hospital.
Community Health Promotion Events
Peer support Mums attend local Community Health Promotion Events to promote breastfeeding.
